I am from Raleigh NC and moved back to the Saxapahaw NC from Northampton MA. While I was in Northampton I received my MFA in Dance and Performance as a teaching candidate at Smith College and before that, a BA in Technical Photography from Appalachian State University. I am an interdisciplinary artist, dancer, photographer, researcher, performer, nanny and dog mom currently studying all things attention and perception. In my work I weave my way through sight, science, felt sense, movement, intuition, and spiritual practices. It is my intention to be with my friends, old and new in a practice of a wide range of somatic processes, in efforts of shining light on, sharing and developing tools in practice of living an embodied life.
This virtual place is a container for me to communicate images, thoughts, ideas, movement practices, improvisation, my current focus and little things i’m noticing. It is a likely unfrequent and random series of messages that will update you on my offerings and and what I am putting out into the world.
